1966 Batman

The 1966 Topps Batman trading card release comprises three primary serialized sets featuring classic pulp artwork by Norman Saunders: the 1966 Topps Batman Black Bat Set (55 cards), the 1966 Topps Batman Red Bat A Series (44 cards), and the 1966 Topps Batman Blue Bat B Series (44 cards). 

Black Bat Set (Cards 1–55)
This set introduces the series with iconic scenes, including "The Batman" (1), "Robin - Boy Wonder" (2), and various showdowns with the Joker (9, 13), Penguin (16, 24), and Catwoman (25, 26). 

Red Bat A Series (Cards 1A–44A)
Featuring 44 cards, this set focuses on action-oriented scenes and death-trap scenarios. Highlights include: 
1A–10A: The Ghostly Foe, Grappling a Gator, The Menacing Mummy, Target of the Trapper, Pendulum Peril, Facing the Axe, The Batline Life-Line, Tentacled Terror, Knighting a Thief, Cycling Crusader.
11A–28A: Highlights include Boiling Bath (12A), Death Spins a Web (18A), Surfing Sleuths (20A), and Victorious Duo (28A). 
Blue Bat B Series (Cards 1B–44B)
This 44-card series continues the high-action themes, featuring distinct blue-bat logos and various card-back puzzles or color variations.
